new to Calda?

Choose your trial offer, explore the studio, and find the right class for your goals.

Where should I start?

Start with one of our New Client Trial Offers. They’re designed to give you time to experience CALDA, try different classes, and find what fits your routine. You don’t need it all figured out before your first visit.

What if I’m not very flexible or experienced?

You don’t need to be experienced, flexible, or already “good at” Pilates or yoga. CALDA is designed to give you different ways to move, build strength, reset, and find a routine that works for you.

For beginners, we recommend starting with Mat Pilates, Pulse, Flow, Soul Flow, or Restore. Pilates Burn is a Level 2 Pilates class, and Ignite is a HIIT-style fitness class that beginners may want to work up to. CALDA welcomes all levels, and instructors can provide modifications when needed.

heat, preperation, & your class experience

Learn what makes CALDA’s infrared-heated experience different, how to prepare for class, and what to expect so you can arrive feeling comfortable and ready to move.

Where is CALDA and what should I know before arriving?

CALDA is located at 525 Smithe Street in Vancouver. Paid street parking is available nearby, including along Richards Street. There is a bike rack directly outside the studio, and no buzzer or access code is required.

Are all CALDA classes heated?

Yes, all classes are infrared heated unless the description specifically says "non-heated".  The temperature is set to 35 ℃.

What does infrared heat feel like?

Infrared heat is a dry, radiant warmth that heats the body more directly than traditional forced hot air. Many people find it soothing and less stuffy, and enjoy the way it helps the body feel warm, loose, and ready to move.

Guests often describe feeling more relaxed, working up a deeper sweat, and leaving class feeling refreshed and energized. Some also love that post-class glow.

What should I bring to class?

Wear comfortable movement clothes and bring:

  • a water bottle

  • a yoga mat

Classes are taken barefoot or in socks.

If you need them, mat and towel rentals are available. Face towels and shower towels are provided.

Mat rental: $6
Towel rental: $6
Mat + towel: $10

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before class so you have time to check in and get settled. Doors are locked once class begins, and late entry is not permitted.

Do you have showers and changing rooms?

Yes. CALDA has showers, changing rooms, lockers, and provides face towels and shower towels.

Can I come to CALDA through ClassPass?

Yes, CALDA is available through ClassPass.

Is there an age minimum?

Guests must be 19 or older. Guests 16–18 may attend with parental consent and must be accompanied by a parent.

How far in advance can I book?
